This gorgeous 1950’s home was bought by actress Mandy Moore and transformed into a midcentury haven.  With a simple colour palette and pops of pastel and gold throughout, she and her team did an amazing job at modernizing the space whilst being true to the origin of the home (built in the 1950’s). Have a look and let us know your thoughts:
Calcutta Marble was used for the countertop and backsplash of this kitchen. The hue green cabinetry with gold faucets and hardware gives the space a retro-chic vibe.
This Guest Bed from Anthropolgie is absolutely stunning! Complimented with a curved gold side table (from CB2) and artwork that helps to bring out the pastel pink cushioning of the head and base boards.
The designers used large tiled Terrazzo flooring throughout the home.

The primary ensuite is a true retreat. The simplistic colour palette emphasizes the true focal point of the space: its views.

Mid-century fixtures and wall sconces, and subtle geometric floor patterned tile compliment the eclectic finishes from the rest of the home.

This chandelier is one of the most stunning pieces of the home.

Retro Chic: Mandy’s living space definitely gives us Mad Men vibes, but with a modern twist. It’s the perfect space to host guests for a dinner party, or cocktail hour.

Those deep blue chairs and that retro chic table lamp behind them are two pieces that we can’t get enough of! (Plus, they work in the times of both Mad Men and Succession ). If you love them as much as us, check out our finds below to bring the space home to you
