Farmhouse Style
You cannot get further from the coast than Calgary, but that didn’t stop the designers of this space from perfecting all that is modern farmhouse. But with more than a few coastal-inspired elements sprinkles throughout!

With a minimal colour palette, bright wood flooring and subtle tones throughout, this home is definitely a stunner!

Designed by Trickle Creek Custom Homes, this private residence is meticulous yet simplistic. One of the standouts in this home has got to be that chandelier in the foyer . The intricacy of the looped rope compliments the wood flooring while introducing guests to the palette of the rest of the home.

KITCHEN

The kitchen cabinetry marries seamlessly with the flooring. And in a way that does not wash out the space. Adding stark white counters and a matching backsplash, that skylight.
Along with simple chrome hardware, the skylight  creates an open and inviting kitchen space.

And then theres the stunningly high ceilings.  Along with a three-panel skylight, the eye goes straight to the exposed beams. This helps to create a visual point that goes vertical, and not just horizontal like most spaces. The designers chose three matching industrial style pendant lights for a fun twist to an overall traditional palette.

BEAUTIFUL PIECES

Above in the living room, elements including the vertical lanterned light fixture and simple fireplace continue the earthy tones from the rest of the home. An antique cabinet adds some texture, colour and depth.

Toronto Pre Construction
Toronto Pre Construction
The design of this sitting room stays true to the rest of the home as it continues with simple earthy finishes, but becomes unique with splashes of colour in its accessories, including pillows, books and florals.

A tip: change it up with small, subtle pieces, but keep the overall look clean! Things like pillows and throws can add colour to your space, in an inexpensive way. This allows you to change them out with every changing season or holiday, or anytime you feel the need for a change.
