Inside This Stunning West Coast Home By Nicole Davis Interiors (She’s Amazing!)
Based out of Orange County, California, Nicole’s designs are fresh and simple yet full of character. Though dark kitchens can make a space feel cold, Nicole does an amazing job at substituting upper cabinetry for a warm and inviting alternative. This stunning, patterned backsplash goes from counter to ceiling, and was a great way to liven up the space.
Accented with exposed wood shelving and a chic display of kitchen essentials, Nicoles makes sure that there is enough storage space while also creating a design that gives a chic and boho feel.
Though many of our instincts would have been to continue the dark cabinetry on the uppers, Nicole’s design inspires to think outside of the box.
The contrast of light and dark throughout the kitchen helps to tie it all together.While the tiled backsplash, white flooring and counters and gold faucets made an airy space, the dark features play just as critical of a role in the spaces beauty.
Along with the cabinets, adding the dark window framing and black accessories helps the gold hardware and backsplash designs pop out, while making sure that they do not feel washed out or old fashioned.
