ROOM SPOTLIGHT: NAVY FOYERS WE LOVE

Foyers are such an important component to every home. It is the room that sets the tone for the rest of the space. But often times it is a place is overlooked and forgotten. In this feature, we are taking a look at some of our favourite foyers.

Farmhouse Classic:

Let’s start with this classic foyer design. Equipped with great natural light, this foyer has a timeless wood table, symmetrical lamps and antique mirror. The wall panelling mirrors the design of the oversized front door windows, and the black and white contrast adds a contemporary flow. Light oak flooring is dressed with a vintage area rug.

Marble-tastic!:

Next, we have this beautiful design. The focal point of this foyer has got to be the beautiful floor emblem with marble-styled porcelain contrasting the hardwood surrounding flooring. Simply stunning! With modern, contemporary and farmhouse design elements, this space marries beautifully together to create an entrance that is jaw dropping.

Modern Art:

Don’t be afraid to add your own flair to your foyer. In the above room, the focal point is the oversized expressionist art piece that hangs. All decor elements pick from the palette of the art piece. From the refurbished mid-century table to gold stemmed table lamps and decor pieces that sit in between.

Navy and Gold:

An overarching theme of this article is navy blue, however gold is a close second. The above foyer has many gold features within it. This brings a very traditional design palette.

Sailing Into Your Home:

Even if you are limited in space, do not be afraid to accessorize your entrance with artwork. In the above space, proportions are the most important factor when dealing with limited space. The light fixture, decor, and artwork are all perfectly proportioned for the space.

Don’t forget to have fun!:

Lastly, the foyer above. Unique and fun. If an unconventional piece speaks to you, embrace the look and add it to your decor. Whether it is a fun fixture or unique light piece (like the one in this space), your foyer should feel like an interaction to you and your unique style!
